Responsibilities

Provide operations management and supervisory staff with support and guidance on employee relation concerns through investigation, and assisting with mediation efforts as appropriate to create positive
Employee relations contact for day to day Responsible for conflict resolution efforts
Assist as an intermediary between Regional HR Director and operations
Ensure Federal & State Wage and Hour Compliance
Function as the “hands on” HR Manager for one or more
Assist in resolution of employee issues to resolve issues without
Union Avoidance: Work with Regional HR Director and Director of Labor Relations to develop union
Ensure operations are in compliance with OSHA
Provide assistance with start-ups and facilitate New Hire
Ensure Enterprise system has accurate employee data for your
Ensure compliance of ResCare training standards are met for your
Ensure ResCare Compliance goals and standards are met for your
Federal / State Wage and Hour Audits: provide requested information for your
Recruit and post job openings for your
Conduct routine salary surveys for your operations as
Ensure HR training for supervisors in your
Assist supervisors with corrective action/performance improvement plan reviews
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business management, human resources, psychology or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral; must communicate professionally and positively with employees and all levels of management
Required knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliance
A fundamental understanding of computer processing including word processing and spreadsheet applications
At least five years related experience and/or

Preferred

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
