Senior Project Manager IS Project Management Office
University Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work with VPs, Directors, and stakeholders to validate new products and perform IT discovery. This role involves planning and executing large-scale projects, establishing best practices for IT project management, and providing guidance to junior project managers.

Responsibilities
Work directly with VPs, Directors, appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate new products for implementation, perform IT discovery and high level project cost analysis
Assist with the successful planning and execution of multiple large-scale projects across UH enterprise
Involved in the day-to-day operations of the PMO office
Responsible for assisting & supporting the PMO Director with the IT portfolios, programs, and projects
Establish, implement, develop, and control best practices for IT project management throughout the organization
Define and document all policies and processes of project lifecycles in order to deliver these projects according to plan and within budget
Provide junior PMs and departmental project managers with guidance and training to bolster standardization and continuity throughout the organization
Provide project management expertise relative to planning, executing and evaluating projects based upon budgets and timelines that have been determined by management and compliance requirements
Assist Vice Presidents and Director of Project Management Information Services (IS) in the overall management of all projects associated with the implementation of University Health
Build and manage project teams, reporting project sponsor, PMO, project stakeholders, external consultants, and ensure quality control throughout the project in standardizing the interest in capital and operational projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Management of Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or a closely related field
Six (6) years in a PM-related role/expertise
At least ten (10) years of technology experience demonstrating formal IT management competencies, including three years managing a technology team
Strong understanding of the department's core business functions and business strategy
Demonstrated ability to manage resources and time effectively; is business savvy and results-oriented
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
