Responsibilities
Build scaled AI solutions including Gen AI
Work on initiatives across the entire business
Partner with cross functional business and technology teams to understand business landscape and drive AI opportunities
Provide technical thought-leadership and direction for AI solutions
Help to define, design and capture data required for measurement of each solution
Collaborate frequently to share ideas and gain perspective
Collaborate with business and product owners to engineer solutions
Design and build Artificial Intelligence into technical solutions at scale
Contribute to the strategy around frameworks and technologies
Document and communicate solutions with effective documentation
Design, Develop, Monitor, and scale AI components, APIs, and applications
Incorporate security standards, test-driven development, and pipeline deployment automation
Mentor junior team-mates to implement measurement data
Initiate and lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Analysis and implementation of Performance/Stability/Reliability initiatives
Monitor metrics, problems, trends, and costs
Plan, create, and execute automated test cases and load/performance testing
Own and support what you build
Production issue triage, management, and prevention
Develop an AI first mindset and help democratize AI for Delta
Qualification
Required
6-8 years of experience needed
Experience with Gen AI/ AI techniques
Experience building and deploying AI solutions on AWS
In depth knowledge of AWS services and other products available to build, deploy and monitor Gen AI solutions
3+ years of work/educational experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycles and DevOps/DevSecOps
Development experience on AWS, AWS Sagemaker required
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, R, Scala, Spark
Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing, sentiment analysis, classification, pattern recognition
Development experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Microsoft CNTK, scikit, Keras, Caffe, Gluon, Torch
Familiarity with GenAI technology stack, including frameworks for prompt engineering, guardrails for GenAI applications, and LLM fine-tuning
Experience working with VectorDBs and other data infrastructure required to efficiently support Generative AI training pipelines and production applications
Experience training and maintaining large language models
Experience with production-grade development, integration and support
Experience and familiarity presenting to technical and business audiences
