Responsibilities

Deliver on critical roadmap items, including new measurement integrations for YouTube TV and Live Sports, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., DMA, MRC, EMFA)

Contribute to existing documentation/educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network/service operations and quality

Write product/system development code, review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

Design, build, and operate large-scale data pipelines using Flume, SQLP, Dreampipe, and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) to share YouTube data externally and develop and integrate privacy-enhancing technologies like Differential Privacy and Clean Rooms to enable secure data collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience with C++ or other programming languages or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields

2 years of experience with Flume, Flume C++, Differential Privacy, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, Dreampipe

2 years of experience with data engineering

2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms

Experience developing accessible technologies
