Responsibilities
Build Internal TA Function: Design, establish, and lead a centralized talent acquisition function by developing processes, implementing recruitment practices, and aligning strategies with AOCUSA’s business objectives to ensure consistent, efficient, and high‑quality hiring outcomes
ATS Optimization: Increase utilization of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline recruitment workflows, reporting, and candidate experience
Strategic Partnerships: Effectively partner with third‑party recruiting firms to supplement hiring needs, ensuring alignment with company standards and culture
Employer Branding: Develop and execute strategies to strengthen AOCUSA’s employer brand and presence across platforms, job boards, and industry events
Interview & Hiring Process: Design and implement structured interview guides, assessment tools, and standardized hiring practices to ensure consistency and fairness
Onboarding Administration: Oversee and coordinate the administrative aspects of new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate acceptance to employee integration, including documentation, compliance, and communication with HR and department leaders
Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions
Department Collaboration: Partner with various department leaders in Tampa, FL, Charleston, SC Los Angeles, CA to support their staffing needs and ensure alignment with business objectives
Pipeline Development: Build proactive talent pipelines for critical manufacturing and technical roles
Metrics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement
Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws (including California)
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing talent acquisition
Proven success in building or scaling TA functions, including ATS implementation and employer branding initiatives
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment methods
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to influence, coach, and partner with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
