Responsibilities
Facilitates the development and completion of activities of the Financial Planning & Analysis department, including long term financial planning, financial proformas, and special finance-related projects and analysis functions
Ensures successful completion of division projects and responsibilities in support of organizational goals
Partners with Reimbursement, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Corporate Finance, Clinical Business Systems, operational leaders, and senior leadership to identify, investigate and resolve various data and reporting issues
Generates reasonableness review, hindsight, other analyses, and ad hoc reports for all Healthcare System units as assigned
Qualification
Required
Require a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or relevant field of study
Require a minimum of five (5) years of financial/analytical responsibilities experience, preferably at a medium or large healthcare organization
Preferred
Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise
Prefer demonstrated computer skills including spreadsheet programs, word processing, database programs, and various Microsoft applications along with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems
Prefer demonstrated strong project management and technical skills, including managing implementations, managing multiple projects, mentoring team members, and providing technical design/support and guidance as it relates to financial planning
Prefer effective communication and presentation skills which include motivating/mentoring training people at all levels
Prefer experience in the coordination of clinical/financial analysis in a decision support environment
Prefer experience utilizing financial reporting systems such as PeopleSoft, Power BI, EPIC Caboodle, and Strata/Strata Jazz (highly preferred)
