The company is seeking a Senior Principal R&D Engineer with deep expertise in PFA and/or RFA ablation systems to lead technical innovation across catheter design, energy delivery, and system performance.

Responsibilities
Lead concept generation, design, prototyping, and bench testing of PFA/RFA ablation catheters
Drive optimisation of electrode design, materials, and catheter mechanics
Provide technical leadership on electrical and energy delivery systems, including waveform development and insulation strategies
Partner with electrophysiologists and interventional cardiologists to inform design decisions
Contribute to intellectual property, invention disclosures, and patent development
Support system-level verification and validation, including electrical safety and performance testing
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
Extensive hands-on experience developing PFA and/or RFA catheter systems
Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and clinical workflows
Familiarity with imaging modalities used in catheter-based procedures
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced startup environment
