Responsibilities
Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Product, Operations, Finance, etc.) to support data-driven initiatives
Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, data definitions, and process flows
Support UAT by validating data, reports, and system changes
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Support ad hoc analysis and executive reporting
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role
Strong experience with SQL for data analysis and validation
Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools
Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
Strong understanding of business processes and requirements gathering
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in healthcare, finance, insurance, or other regulated industries
Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Knowledge of statistics and forecasting techniques
