Responsibilities
Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting. This includes, but is not limited to, rate monitoring, exposure monitoring, trend monitoring, and new business monitoring
Maintain and improve upon existing dashboards in Shiny, including the Price Monitor Dashboard and Profit Study Dashboard
Maintain existing actuarial databases in SQL
Assist in coordinating with the various business units and non-actuarial groups to pull together exhibits for strategic plan, annual plan, and rate need monitoring
Respond to periodic requests by producing ad hoc analyses and reports
Contribute to the improvement, creation, and/or implementation of processes to expand capabilities, improve efficiency, and enhance effectiveness. This may include developing new Shiny dashboards for management
Assist in serving as a technical reviewer for actuarial students, and assist with rate filings when needed
Qualification
Required
Four years of property and casualty actuarial experience
BS/BA in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Proficiency in R, SQL, VBA, Excel
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills; works comfortably in team environment
Should be well organized and able to maintain good documentation and record keeping
Preferred
ACAS/FCAS preferred
