Responsibilities
Cultivate relationships with government agencies, corporations, foundations, academic institutions, and community organizations
Secure corporate partnerships for Civic Tech Scholars internships and collaborative projects
Build coalitions around policy initiatives and urban challenges
Create university pathways for talent development programs
Partner with academic institutions on urban development, economic development, and emerging tech research
Connect with city planning departments, economic development corporations, and government entities
Build relationships with think tanks and policy organizations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in public policy, urban planning, management, business, or related field
5+ years in partnership development, business development, or stakeholder relations
(nonprofit/government/policy sectors preferred)
Proven track record securing grants, corporate sponsorships, or institutional partnerships
Strong understanding of civic technology, urban policy, and community development
Excellent relationship management and networking abilities
Grant writing experience and foundation/government funding relationships
Strategic thinking and negotiation skills
Outstanding communication skills
Commitment to equity and community engagement
Preferred
Master's degree in public administration, public policy, or urban planning
Think tank or policy organization experience
Knowledge of San Antonio and South Texas
Established regional relationships with government, foundations, or corporations
Experience with AI, technology policy, or STEAM education
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
