Robotics Engineer
Cubiq Recruitment is a fast-growing robotics business shaping the next generation of autonomous and industrial systems. They are looking for a Field Diagnostics Engineer to manage fleet issues and ensure the reliability of advanced robotic systems across warehouses and other environments.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming fleet issues, triaging and categorising hardware, software, or operational problems
Perform on-site inspections, functional tests, and diagnostics to reproduce and resolve issues
Analyse telemetry, sensor data, and logs to identify root causes and improve system reliability
Conduct failure analysis and contribute actionable insights for design improvements
Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to resolve complex, real-world issues
Track fleet health metrics and maintain accurate documentation for every diagnostic and escalation event
Develop and refine diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting guides
Qualification
Required
Proven experience supporting deployed robotics or autonomous systems in industrial, warehouse, or autonomous vehicle environments
Hands-on expertise with electromechanical systems including actuators, sensors, PCBs, wiring, and communication hardware
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software interactions in robotic systems
Experience analysing logs and running diagnostics using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and team handovers
Rapid learner, adaptable, and excited to work on the next generation of robotics technology
Preferred
Experience with multi-robot fleets or large-scale autonomous deployments
Exposure to warehouse automation or industrial robotics operations
