Responsibilities
Create and maintain complex financial models using Excel and Argus Enterprise to forecast leveraged cash flows and financial return metrics for potential and existing investments
Perform market and submarket research
Prepare investment committee memorandums outlining and substantiating potential investments to investment committee
Assist with property-level due diligence, including engaging with third-party consultants and brokers
Assist with asset management (including capital expenditure plans) of existing investments
Work directly with the underwriting and asset management teams of firm's joint venture partners and asset operators
Prepare written investor reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
Prepare marketing presentations for potential investors
Support legal and finance teams, including participating in transaction closings
Qualification
Required
Participate in all aspects of research, acquisitions, financing, dispositions, developments, asset management, and investor communications across multiple product types
Report to the Vice President and work closely with all members of the investment and asset management teams
Responsible for extensive research at the property and market level and financial underwriting during each stage of the investment life cycle
Assist with executing business plans and provide ongoing support for client reporting and fundraising
Create and maintain complex financial models using Excel and Argus Enterprise to forecast leveraged cash flows and financial return metrics for potential and existing investments
