Intern, Operations and Supply Chain Systems
Graphcore is a globally recognised leader in Artificial Intelligence computing systems, and they are seeking an Operations and Supply Chain Systems Intern. The role involves participating in mechanical design, supporting thermal testing of AI hardware, and collaborating with design teams to evaluate and troubleshoot prototypes.

Responsibilities
Participating in different aspects of mechanical design using Creo 3D CAD software
Working with the thermal team developing test procedures and setting up a new thermal lab for the testing of AI hardware
Supporting thermal testing of new hardware using various lab equipment
Support the mechanical and thermal design teams evaluating, testing and troubleshooting prototypes
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and studying towards a Mechanical Engineer Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome)
Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience
Preferred
Experience using 3D CAD software (Creo preferred, not required)
Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach
Curiosity about technology outside of the classroom – personal projects, mechanical design, building projects or internships etc
Experiencing working in a lab environment, setting up and using equipment, testing and reporting data
Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems
