Responsibilities
Work closely with internal technology leaders to understand business needs and develop appropriate sourcing plans
Research markets, assess vendors, and lead competitive bidding processes
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to achieve strong value and compliance
Review spending patterns and conduct cost analyses to uncover savings and efficiency improvements
Support contract lifecycle tasks, ensuring alignment with procurement policies
Monitor vendor performance and manage issue escalation or remediation
Coordinate with legal, finance, risk, and other cross-functional partners to maintain contract and vendor standards
Document sourcing processes and contribute to workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum of five years in procurement or sourcing, ideally with a focus on IT categories
Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
Understanding of IT buying areas such as cloud services, SaaS, infrastructure, and professional services
Experience using procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP)
Clear communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups
Comfortable handling multiple priorities independently
Preferred
Working in large, multi-location or global companies
Familiarity with technology contracts and licensing frameworks
Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an added advantage
