Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for OEM customers on assigned programs
Lead program execution from nomination through launch and any associated engineering changes
Manage all program milestones, deliverables, and customer commitments
Facilitate OEM program reviews, launch meetings, and escalation management
Lead APQP activities in compliance with OEM-specific and IATF 16949 requirements
Coordinate PPAP submissions, run-at-rate events, and safe launch activities
Ensure tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes are ready for SOP
Drive issue resolution during launch and early production phases
Drive lessons learned and best-practice implementation across programs
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve launch performance and execution discipline
Ensure adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and quality system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field is preferred. Candidates with exceptional related skills, experience and/or training will be considered
5+ years of experience in Program Management within a tier 1 automotive environment is preferred. Candidates with extensive experience in similar roles (AQE, QE, ME) will be considered
Proficiently uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email system
Read blueprints
Understands GD&T tolerancing
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
General understanding of gaging and measurement systems
Previous experience with metal stamping and forming would be a plus
