Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10 Sales Strategist Case Managers, providing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to ensure flawless execution
Manage work assignments, serve as a key escalation point for Sales and Implementation leaders, and implement strategies that enhance quality, efficiency, and revenue within the Workplace Investing Core Market segment
Your team will serve plan sponsors and their advisors and is focused primarily on supporting confirmed Defined Contribution sales from sales commitment through implementation including – internal audit of pricing and funds to ensure profitability and risk mitigation, consultation of available fund options and confirmation of fund lineups with Sales, advisors, and plan sponsors
Create the best possible onboarding experience for our newest clients and set the stage for long-term partnerships
Oversee the team’s handoff of committed client opportunities to key business partners, including Implementations
Support the team in managing SLAs, automation, and quality control throughout the sales handoff process until plan funding is complete
Monitor sales operations, analyze performance data, and prepare reports to identify opportunities for efficiency and growth
Foster a culture where team members feel empowered to share ideas, improve processes, and innovate within their roles
Lead group initiatives that align with and support key business goals
Coach and develop associates to deliver an exceptional experience for advisor partners and new clients
Influence internal and external partners effectively, proactively assess needs, and resolve issues through systematic problem-solving
Perform securities compliance oversight as the principal for assigned registered sales representatives
Monitor services and operations to ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards

Required

Retirement plan recordkeeping and administration experience
Experience working with sales teams or in collaborative partnerships
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Approximately 20% travel required
Series 7, 63, 24 licenses required or able to obtain within 120 days
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years' experience or master's degree with 10+ years' experience
Outstanding coaching, leadership, and management skills, with the ability to empower associates to grow and develop while driving optimal team performance and output. Responsibility for managing high level exempt and/or Manager roles
Strong relationship-building skills, leading with empathy and fostering team cohesion
Organizational expertise, including advanced time management and project management capabilities
Analytical proficiency, with the ability to interpret data, assess performance, and identify business trends and opportunities
Presentation excellence, capable of delivering clear, engaging, and well-structured presentations, including preparation, visual creation, and delivery
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Collaboration and interpersonal strength, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders and team members at all organizational levels
Advanced problem-solving skills, adept at analyzing root causes and determining effective solutions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
