Responsibilities

Lead Safety & EHS Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance, employee well-being, and continuous improvement
Conduct Audits, Inspections & Risk Assessments: Perform regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments while tracking findings and implementing corrective actions
Lead Employee Training & Coaching: Schedule and conduct safety training, mentor employees, and foster a proactive safety culture
Manage Incident Response & Compliance Reporting: Oversee investigations of incidents, near misses, and OSHA reporting to ensure timely corrective action
Support Worker’s Compensation & Wellness Initiatives: Collaborate with HR to manage compensation claims and execute programs supporting employee wellness
Collaborate on Safety-Driven Design & Equipment Compliance: Work with engineering and design teams to align with environmental and safety standards
Oversee Facilities Management: Manage daily operations, preventative maintenance, vendor relationships, and ensure a safe, clean, and compliant workplace
Develop Emergency Preparedness Programs: Plan and lead emergency drills and response strategies to address risks across safety and facilities

Required

4+ Years of experience leading EHS efforts in an industrial manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge of safety and health hazards identification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adept in developing and delivering safety training
Proven ability to gain rapport and effectively engage with employees to develop a safety culture on the production floor is critical
Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and can implement them effectively
