Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of large-scale ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues in production environments across multiple applications and platforms
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions for new and existing systems
Act as a subject matter expert in data mapping, transformations, validations, and ingestion workflows
Collaborate closely with technical product owners, analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders
Monitor data workflows and enforce data quality, consistency, and governance standards
Create and maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing across teams
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural decision-making
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and drive best practices in data engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
Strong proficiency in Oracle and hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Scala, and Hadoop
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, preferably SAFe
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
Preferred
Background in Healthcare IT, particularly payer systems or payment integrity/FWA solutions
Experience with Apache NiFi for data pipeline orchestration and management
