Responsibilities
Build trusted relationships with county engineers, road superintendents, public works leaders, and local officials
Help communities identify better approaches to road construction, dust control, and soil stabilization
Educate stakeholders on the technical and environmental benefits of Substrata’s solutions
Guide projects from first conversation through implementation
Represent Substrata at industry events, site visits, and meetings
Collaborate closely with internal technical and support teams
Manage your territory with autonomy while receiving strong onboarding and ongoing support
Qualification
Required
Experience working in or with county or city government
Experience working in or with public works, roads, or infrastructure
Experience working in or with engineering, transportation, or construction departments
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Comfort building relationships and having solution-oriented conversations
A self-directed mindset and willingness to learn the commercial side of the business
Integrity-driven approach—you want to help communities while doing meaningful work
