Responsibilities

Define and execute the firmwide AI technical vision
Build LLM-based products for research, trading, and operational workflows
Architect agentic AI systems capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and tool execution
Develop and operate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers connecting AI agents securely with enterprise data, APIs, and internal systems
Own the complete LLM/AI lifecycle: model selection, evaluation frameworks, system prompts, deployment, monitoring, and continuous iteration
Lead applied AI R&D, including RAG pipelines, tool calling, and agentic frameworks
Establish best practices for responsible, safe, and high-performance AI in a regulated, high-stakes environment
Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Quants, and Engineering teams
Mentor and guide junior engineers as the AI team grows

Required

5+ years' experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in CS, AI, ML, or a quantitative field
Strong Python engineering skills and experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, tool calling, or orchestration systems
Experience building secure integration layers (MCP or equivalent) connecting AI models to internal systems
Comfortable working in highly technical environments and partnering with PMs, Quants, and Engineering leaders
Thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments with high expectations

Preferred

Background in financial markets, quantitative environments, trading tech, or similarly complex data domains
