Responsibilities

Deliver strategic sales initiatives with a defined territory of agencies
Build their book of GEICO business through approved underwriting practices
Use strong ability to influence, along with analytical and decision-making skills to provide guidance and support that promotes preference for GEICO products and services
Act as a subject matter expert of product lines and systems to provide recommendations that improve customer experience, sales closure, and retention with new and existing customers in the business-to-business space
Help their agencies achieve sales targets through actionable goal setting and understanding of their business needs

Required

2 years sales/consulting experience (business-to-business sales a plus)
Must have prior experience with commercial insurance OR relevant commercial auto and trucking industry experience
Highly effective oral and written communicator – must be comfortable presenting, persuading, and networking through multiple channels (in-person, virtually, over the phone, etc.)
Ability to work individually and as a team collaborator with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience interpreting and analyzing data to make informed decisions that support growth initiatives
Knowledge of industry changes, technology, and desire for continued learning
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

A bachelor's degree
Prior experience working with Independent Insurance Agents
Prior experience with caseload management and customer follow-up
Prior experience working with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health)
