Responsibilities
Should have experience in assessing current data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across the organization
Extensive experience in defining and recommending a future-state Data Governance operating model aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
Must have developed a roadmap and bridging strategy to transition from current-state to future-state DG capabilities
Experience as a Lead and facilitate discussions with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, and data management teams, ensuring alignment and consensus
Should have guided implementation of Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management solutions for insurance carriers
Must Provide hands-on expertise with Alation for data cataloging, stewardship, and metadata management
Should leverage Google Cloud Platform capabilities for data governance, data catalog, and cloud-based data management solutions
Should be expertise in Alation and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desired
Experience with Modern Data Governance experience with a focus on AI-led initiatives and opportunities to leverage Agentic and Generative AI capabilities
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of Overall IT experience
Should have experience in assessing current data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across the organization
Extensive experience in defining and recommending a future-state Data Governance operating model aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
Must have developed a roadmap and bridging strategy to transition from current-state to future-state DG capabilities
