Responsibilities
Architect, design, and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure WAN, LAN, and Data Center networks using Juniper (MX, EX, QFX) and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
Design, build, and maintain MPLS core network architectures, including L2/L3 VPNs, LDP, RSVP-TE, and traffic engineering
Develop and manage complex BGP routing policies for multi-homed internet connectivity, inter-AS communication, and route optimization
Lead network design and delivery for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and industry best practices
Design and optimize Quality of Service (QoS) policies to support latency-sensitive services such as VoIP and real-time video
Ensure reliable delivery of VoIP services, including integration with Session Border Controllers and gateways
Architect and support network infrastructure for IP Video Surveillance (IPVS), including camera-to-VMS communication and storage networking
Perform network capacity planning and traffic analysis for high-bandwidth video streams (H.264/H.265)
Design secure VLAN segmentation, zoning, and PoE/PoE+ power strategies for IPVS environments
Configure and manage Juniper SRX and Palo Alto NGFWs, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, User-ID, Application-ID, and Panorama
Enforce network security controls, including 802.1X authentication for endpoint access where required
Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support, root cause analysis, and rapid resolution of complex network issues
Utilize monitoring and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark) to troubleshoot network, voice, and video performance issues
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Architect-level role
Deep hands-on expertise with Juniper Junos OS across MX routers, EX/QFX switches, and SRX firewalls
Expert-level knowledge of BGP, including route filtering, path manipulation, and peering strategies
Extensive experience designing and operating MPLS networks (LDP, RSVP-TE, L2/L3 VPNs)
Proven expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including Panorama, App-ID, Content-ID, and WildFire
Strong experience designing and troubleshooting networks supporting high-volume, real-time traffic, including VoIP and IP Video with QoS
