VP of Account Management

Responsibilities

Own net revenue retention, expansion revenue, and overall client health across the customer portfolio
Lead, coach, and scale the Account Management team with clear expectations, operating cadence, and accountability
Build repeatable systems for renewals, expansion identification, executive check-ins, and risk detection
Serve as the senior escalation point for high-stakes client issues involving privacy, ad security, regulatory, or reputational risk
Translate client feedback and behavioral signals into actionable insights for Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership
Partner closely with the CEO on strategic accounts, renewal strategy, and long-term customer planning

Required

Held senior post-sale leadership roles such as VP or Head of Account Management or Customer Success in advertising technology or an adjacent regulated market
Owned or overseen high-value client relationships with meaningful renewal and expansion responsibility
Led teams managing a mix of strategic, high-touch accounts and scaled lower-ACV accounts in parallel
Built and implemented scalable account management and renewal systems that improved retention, expansion, and forecast accuracy
Thrived in client-facing environments where outcomes carried legal, regulatory, or reputational risk
Demonstrated calm, credible executive judgment in high-pressure or politically sensitive situations

Preferred

Experience partnering closely with Sales leadership on expansion strategy and revenue forecasting
Adtech-adjacent background including martech, brand safety, DSP, SSP, or compliance platforms
Ownership of integrated support, escalation, or client operations functions
Direct partnership with CEOs or Presidents in a growth-stage B2B company
