This role will support the firm’s in-house trading and analytics tools, ensuring stability, monitoring, and support for key business lines including equities trading, risk, portfolio visualization, and market data.

Responsibilities
Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts, reacting quickly to issues
Ensure system stability and uptime for all tools under management, including application and infrastructure/cloud monitoring
Troubleshoot and support user queries across the equities trading teams
Identify areas for improvement, assess business risk, and prioritize remediation
Administer handoffs to other regions and follow up as necessary
Flexibility to work weekends or shifts for releases and meetings
Build subject matter expertise and become the go-to person for your area of responsibility
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of equities products and experience interacting with portfolio managers/traders
5+ years professional experience in Python, Unix/shell scripting, and SQL
Self-starter with ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies (public cloud, serverless architecture, etc.)
Highly motivated with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
