Facilities Technician - Day Shift

Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain facility systems including cleanroom/HVAC, ultrapure/deionized water (DIW), wastewater treatment, compressed air, process gases, chilled/hot water, vacuum systems, exhaust/abatement, and electrical distribution
Perform routine inspections, PMs, calibration, and component replacements; maintain equipment health using CMMS and documented PM plans
Diagnose system irregularities; execute corrective actions and repairs to restore service and prevent recurrence
Respond promptly to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations; coordinate with engineering, operations, and EHS; follow escalation and incident reporting protocols
Maintain accurate shift logs, operating parameters, maintenance records, work orders, and change management documentation
Ensure all work complies with FormFactor safety, quality, and environmental standards and applicable regulations (OSHA, TCEQ, EPA, City of Farmer’s Branch)
Communicate and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors on upgrades, shutdowns, repairs, and projects; support parts/equipment readiness
Support startup, commissioning, decommissioning, and qualification activities for new or upgraded equipment, including test plans and checklists
Identify reliability risks, propose improvements (procedures, spares, PM intervals), and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA)
Work a rotating schedule; provide clear handoffs across shifts; participate in on‑call rotation as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
