Review and verify for final approval on invoices for general ledger posting and payment
Process and pay monthly sales and use taxes
Assist with month-end closing procedures as well as both internal and external audits
Approve new vendors and set up within the ERP system
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting system
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience within construction or a similar industry
Experience with general ledger accounting including accounts payable and account reconciliations
Intermediate to advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Prior experience with Viewpoint Construction Software is a plus
