This role focuses on implementing, integrating, and deploying real-time audio pipelines on Android-based embedded systems, enhancing the intelligence of their devices through audio processing.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a cross-functional software team to enhance the intelligence of our devices through the use of audio processing
Design and implement state-of-the-art audio signal processing algorithms for real-time communication systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio processing solutions into our product ecosystem
Develop system frameworks to debug real time audio issues and support hardware tuning efforts
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of industry experience in the conferencing, communications, and/or professional audio industry
Expert C++: Proven experience in real-time multi-threaded programming on embedded systems
Experience with Android/Linux: Professional experience developing for Android devices and comfortable working in a Linux terminal for building and deploying code
Audio Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital audio fundamentals (AEC, Noise reduction) and wireless audio technologies
Preferred
Masters preferred
5+ years of industry experience in the conferencing, communications, and/or professional audio industry
Experience with audio DAW (e.g., Audacity, Audition)
Experience with audio testing software (SoundCheck, HEAD acoustics)
Experience working with TinyALSA and Android Audio HAL
Familiarity with Python or MATLAB to verify algorithm behavior or analyze audio data
Experience with beamforming algorithms
Experience with audio streaming protocols, codecs (Opus, AAC), and industry-standard communication requirements
Familiarity with DSP and experience optimizing and integrating existing solutions
