Homeland Talent Solutions has partnered with a company to hire an experienced Workday Implementation Project Manager for a 12-month hybrid engagement. This role involves leading the internal project management for a full Workday HCM implementation, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Own the Workday implementation plan, timeline, and resource allocation
Serve as the primary liaison between the System Integrator (SI) and internal teams
Enforce project governance and change management processes
Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and executive sponsors
Facilitate decision-making and escalate issues promptly
Provide regular status updates to the CIO, PMO, and steering committee
Manage RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions)
Oversee testing, training, and deployment activities
Ensure a knowledge transfer plan is in place for post-go-live support
Monitor project budget and resource utilization
Track SI deliverables and manage vendor relationships

Required

5+ years of Workday HCM experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation
3+ years of enterprise project management experience
Strong understanding of HR processes and systems
Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile) and tools (Smartsheet, Jira)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to influence without direct authority
