Responsibilities

Own the administration, maintenance, and operational uptime of the Universe DB
Maintain system file structures, data integrity, and monthly operational processes
Troubleshoot system issues and ensure performance reliability
Manage routine and ad hoc maintenance requests
Quickly absorb tribal knowledge from the outgoing DBA
Document processes and workflows that have historically been undocumented
