Responsibilities
Develops and delivers unique engineering solutions used in a nuclear manufacturing environment
Creates and updates drawings and procedures
Track, trend, and analyze data from development efforts and production campaigns
Make recommendations based upon analyzed data
Troubleshoot issues and develops paths forward
Support of shop floor operations, resolve issues and generate process improvement ideas
Frequent communication with customer counterparts on process and product related topics
Ensures compliance to contract specifications (contract, drawing, etc.)
Utilizes Change Management Tools and Systems
Authors customer submittals to support component certifications
Prioritizes and coordinates multiple engineering activities
Performs process monitoring on applicable processes and products
Interprets contract and drawing requirements to create/modify Operating Procedures, Guidelines, Forms, and Programs
Participates in design, testing, analysis, project management, and procurement of materials
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must currently have or will have an Engineering or Physics Degree by May 2026
Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
