NEOGOV is seeking a Human Resources Customer Service Representative to support State of Michigan employees with payroll, benefits, and HR-related inquiries. Responsibilities
Provides support to State of Michigan employees for a wide variety of payroll, benefit and human resource related transactions and calls in a contact center environment using knowledge base and contact center software
Qualification
Required
Customer service experience, ideally in a contact center environment
A background in human resource or benefit transactions utilizing contact center software to manage customer inquiries and cases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education acquired through completion of high school
Experience in a customer contact center or a customer service position with focus on customer account data, updating online files, responding to and/or resolving customer inquiries in person or via electronic mail, phone, or paper
Experience processing benefit enrollment changes, processing payroll documents, or processing verification of employment requests for employees
Experience working in a call/contact center
Experience working in a fast-paced position that requires the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize work assignments
Internet connection that can maintain a download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps
