They are seeking a talented and motivated Legal & Compliance Intern to support the department with legal operations and compliance-related work, providing hands-on exposure to in-house legal practice and collaboration with attorneys and compliance professionals.
Responsibilities
Support company litigation matters, including assisting with fact gathering, document collection, and organization
Potential opportunity to observe litigation-related events such as mediations, depositions, or meetings with outside counsel
Assist with legal file management, including organizing and maintaining litigation and matter files
Assist with rollover of annual and quarterly governance documents
Support other legal projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Support risk-based audits and transactional monitoring activities using compliance analytics tools
Assist with migration of compliance investigation reports into the case management system
Support federal, state, and international transparency reporting requirements
Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals
Attend meetings and provide input on departmental initiatives
Present final project(s) to key stakeholders within department
In addition to project work, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in lunch and learn activities, trainings and interactions with senior leadership
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a full-time rising Junior or Senior
Open to students of all majors who are interested in pursuing a law degree
Maintain a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
