Maintenance Engineer
EOS Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all resort facilities and equipment. The role involves overseeing maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the resort's infrastructure to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems throughout the resort
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems such as swimming pools and kitchen equipment
Inspect and monitor all areas of the resort regularly to ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards
Respond to maintenance requests promptly, resolving any issues that may arise from staff or guests
Ensure timely and effective execution of scheduled maintenance tasks and repairs to avoid major breakdowns and disruptions
Address guest maintenance-related issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience
Proactively identify and resolve potential maintenance issues before they impact guests
Ensure that all systems and equipment are compliant with local, state, and federal safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, following all safety protocols
Conduct regular safety inspections and assist with emergency response planning, including fire safety systems and evacuation procedures
Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Report on the status of facilities, equipment, and maintenance activities to the Chief Engineer as required
Assist in emergency situations such as power outages, equipment failures, or natural disasters
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a resort or hotel environment
Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with guests, staff, and contractors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of inventory control
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred
Technical certification or associate degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
