Responsibilities
Ability to interpret customers test application and technical performance requirements
Identify discrepancies in legacy requirement data and recommend viable resolutions
Design and validate automated electrical systems for power conversion products
Design electrical interfact test adapters, fixture and cable assemblies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Test engineering or a related field
Ability to generate clear and concise electrical drawings, wire lists, bill of materials
Experience developing schematics
Working knowledge of power testing systems, especially automated test systems
Experience using AC/DC power sources, electronic loads, hipot testers, power meters, and general electrical lab test equipment such as DMM's and oscilloscopes
Experience with communication protocols such as GPIB (IEEE 488.2), RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, I2C, and CAN Bus
Excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills will be required to effectively present ideas to peers, management, and outside customers
Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Visio, and Power Point
Preferred
4-Year College degree - BS in Electrical Engineering degree is highly preferred
Knowledge of PCB layout software is a plus
Software programming is a plus; Python or C#
