Responsibilities
Support deal origination through opportunity screening, market research, and sector analysis
Build and maintain detailed financial models (LBOs, operating models, sensitivities, returns analysis)
Assist in valuation work, diligence coordination, and preparation of investment committee materials
Analyze business models, unit economics, competitive dynamics, and growth strategies
Coordinate with external advisors (commercial, financial, legal) during live transactions
Support portfolio companies with KPI tracking, board materials, and strategic initiatives
Prepare clear, structured investment memos and presentations
Track market trends, comparable transactions, and financing conditions
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in investment banking
3–4 years of combined experience across investment banking and private equity (principal investing)
Strong technical foundation: financial modeling, valuation, and accounting fundamentals
Ability to take ownership of workstreams and operate with limited supervision
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills
Genuine interest in private equity and long-term value creation
Team-oriented mindset with high standards and intellectual curiosity
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
MBA or CFA is a plus but not required
