Regional Sales Manager - North East Region

Utility Solutions Group is seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to join their team. The RSM will be responsible for promoting and selling residential regulators to potential customers, identifying clients, understanding their needs, and presenting USG products that meet their specifications.

Responsibilities

Promoting and selling residential regulators to potential customers
Identifying potential clients and understanding their needs
Presenting USG products that meet customer specifications
Building relationships with clients
Managing multiple clients and maintaining records of sales
Performing demonstrations of regulators and explaining their functioning to customers
Identifying key personnel in utility companies and building relationships
Ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery, quality, and performance requirements of products
Transferring utility relationships from distributors to Utility Solutions Group
Establishing Utility Solutions Group as an approved vendor at existing utility accounts
Identifying top accounts in geography and gathering service regulators specifications from utilities

Required

Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Sales or similar role
Knowledge of the gas regulator equipment industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and selling skills
Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to build relationships with clients
Highly motivated and target-driven
Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, answer their queries, and handle their objections effectively
Sales skills for identifying potential customers, closing deals, and meeting sales targets
Organizational skills to manage multiple clients, maintain records of sales, and schedule appointments efficiently
Technical skills to perform demonstrations of regulators and explain their functioning to customers
Dependable, accountable, responsible, ethical, highly organized
Competent in using Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience in negotiation
High verbal and writing skills
Experience with detailed long-term planning and execution
Experience evaluating, coaching, and giving feedback to personnel – informal and documented
Ability to design and administer programs to improve sales performance
Understand and/or teach pressure regulation concepts and specific product performance outcomes
Ability to research, understand, and advise on customer trends that impact company's product
