Sales & Marketing - MPD Technical Sales Manager

The MPD Technical Sales Manager will drive the implementation of MPD solutions, working closely with internal departments and clients to ensure successful project execution and technology promotion throughout the industry.

Responsibilities

Accountable for working closely with the Sales, Operations, and Engineering departments to advise on and implement technical solutions to enhance the client experience and exceed client expectations
Champion company technology/products/services throughout the region through networking, seminars and industry tradeshows/events
Deliver technical presentations to existing and potential clients and industry panels
Present, promote, and sell products/services throughout the industry using sound technical solutions to existing and prospective customers
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Responsible for discussing technical aspects of proposals with client and gaining client feedback
Work to continuously improve processes and service offerings
Understand the core needs of each client type and build an effective technical solution

Required

Strong technical knowledge of MPD applications within the Oil & Gas industry
5+ years of direct technical sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry related to drilling
Strong understanding of the MPD industry
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Preferred

Post-secondary education in a technical discipline preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
