Responsibilities
Perform as the Contractor's Quality Management Representative
Responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for the project
Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System
Responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System is effective in ensuring that the Contract requirements are satisfied
Responsible for the oversight of onsite and offsite testing by the Contractor
Qualification
Required
At least ten years of quality management experience in a construction environment
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 trained Lead Auditor
Four-year degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Management or related field
Minimum 10 years of quality management experience in a construction environment with a minimum of 5 years of performing QA/QC Auditing
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification as a CQA or has been trained as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
Experienced in establishing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems, and performing compliance audits in the construction, transportation and/or transit industry
Familiarity with Federal Transit Agency's (FTA) Quality requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
