Developing high-quality software design and architecture
Producing, testing and debugging software solutions
Providing peer leadership in an Agile team environment
Technical interaction with product management and customers
Coordination with management and internal teams
Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Performing validation and verification testing
Ensuring software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science and 5+ years of related experience or Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science and 3+ years of related experience
Proven Mainframe knowledge and skills
Proficiency in IBM Assembler language and Metal C programming languages
Strong understanding of security protocols and Security ESMs
z/OS Operating system familiarity
Source control systems experience (Endevor)
Interactive debugging tool (XDC) and dump reading experience
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Database design and SQL skills
Experience developing/utilizing test automation
Preferred
Familiarity with Java programming language is a plus
