Responsibilities
Define and execute the IT service management strategy, ensuring IT goals directly support business objectives
Oversee core processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset Management) and ensure consistent application
Establish frameworks for process monitoring, compliance, and reporting to governing bodies
Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction, often using Lean/Six Sigma
Mentor and manage SMO team members, assign duties, and foster collaboration across IT and business units
Monitor KPIs and SLAs, report on service performance, and manage budgets
Act as a liaison with business leaders, managing expectations and ensuring IT services meet needs
Manage the IT Service Management platform (e.g., ServiceNow), including roadmap, administration, and optimization
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of ITIL 4 framework and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills
Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Vendor and contract management
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
