Responsibilities
Engage in comprehensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand the characteristics, patterns, and distributions within the dataset using SAS
Utilize SAS procedures to uncover key insights from raw data
Contribute to the development of statistical models, with strong understanding on techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, and other relevant methods
Apply statistical methods to handle complex data structures and relationships
Assist in the evaluation of model performance using statistical metrics and validation techniques
Interpret model results and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative graduate program required
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in applied statistics, mathematics, business analytics, data science
1 year of good knowledge of statistical concepts using SAS experience
1 year of Experience in building regression models in academic projects using SAS
Understanding and application of various machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling, including linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting
Good knowledge of SAS programming language
Strong written and verbal communication skills; good presentation skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Supervisory, coaching and teaching skills
Able to work independently and within a team
Able to manage a cross-functional team toward a shared objective
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
