Research Technician
CHEManager International is seeking a Research Technician to support the development and implementation of 3D microfluidic devices for modeling diseases such as ovarian cancer and preeclampsia. The role involves maintaining laboratory operations, preparing reagents, and assisting with data collection and report writing in a collaborative research environment.
Responsibilities
Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces
Reviews data to summarize results for presentations or reporting
Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications. Performs lab or field tests
Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications
May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or higher
At least 2-year experience working in research labs
Experience with cell culture in 2D and 3D
Experience with microfabrication procedures
Preferred
Microdevice design and fabrication using a variety of techniques (soft lithography, 3D printing)
Cell culture techniques in 2D and 3D (hydrogel generation, spheroids)
Experience with scientific writing (figure generation, writing of protocols)
Optical fluorescence microscopy
