Sales & Business Development Manager (Full-Time)
The Maxwell is a family-owned wedding and event venue in Raleigh, NC, committed to providing exceptional hospitality and quality service. They are seeking an experienced Event Sales and Marketing Manager to handle event inquiries, manage client relationships, and develop marketing strategies to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
Handle inbound event and wedding inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance through the sales process
Maintain and grow relationships with potential and existing clients, fostering repeat business and referrals
Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Conduct venue tours, consultations, and negotiations, tailoring packages to meet clients' specific needs and preferences
Effectively communicate venue policies and requirements
Assist with event day operations as needed during busier seasons
Clearly communicate event details gathered during sales process to all necessary team members and vendors
Work closely with our preferred vendors (specifically corporate events) to plan event details
Proactively engage in outbound sales efforts, including networking, and lead generation, to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote brand visibility and drive engagement
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, Google Ads, email campaigns, and social media strategy
Create marketing content that aligns with the company’s brand values and business goals
Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize results
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
Manage and grow our social media presence across relevant platforms
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of direct event sales experience, preferably within the wedding or hospitality industry
Minimum 2 years of event, catering, or planning experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Experience with SEO, Google Ads, and social media platforms for business, especially Pinterest
Experience with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms. (Dubsado Preferred)
