Responsibilities

Analyze and prepare actuarial justifications and supporting documentation for insurance product filings
Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements, including documentation for rate and rule filings
Monitor and interpret state-specific DOI regulations, bulletins, and guidelines related to hazard insurance
Develop responses to DOI objections and questions, ensuring timely approvals
Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes
Identify and recommend improvements to filing processes and actuarial models

Required

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
3–5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in property and casualty (P&C) insurance
Strong knowledge of state regulatory requirements for insurance product filings
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting actuarial findings
