Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives
Develop comprehensive data models, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and scalability
Lead data transformation processes and optimize data workflows for efficiency and performance
Manage data storage solutions, including data warehousing, archiving, and retrieval mechanisms
Perform performance tuning and engineering to ensure high availability and responsiveness of data systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Maintain and improve ETL/ELT processes using advanced tools and techniques
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met
Automate routine tasks using Unix Shell Scripting and other automation tools
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance data architecture
Qualification
Required
Over 10 years of extensive experience in enterprise data architecture and design
Proven expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and data integration
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend
Strong knowledge of database systems including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Snowflake
Proficiency in SQL writing, optimization, and complex queries
Advanced skills in Unix Shell Scripting for automation and data management tasks
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
Deep understanding of data storage, archiving, and performance engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
Preferred
Knowledge of cloud data platforms and services
Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks
Familiarity with other data processing and orchestration tools
Ability to lead large-scale data initiatives and mentor junior team members
