The accounting associate will provide a broad range of accounting and analytical support to the Accounting & Finance department, including key contributions to the timely and accurate completion of the monthly close and reporting process.

Responsibilities
Assist in the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card transactions and expense reports and ensure the proper codification of transactions
Record transactions in the general ledger in conformity with GAAP and company policy
Prepare or assist with general ledger account reconciliations and research and resolve any outstanding items
Collect and maintain vendor and customer account information
Assist in the preparation of monthly commission reports
Assist in the completion of month-end closing tasks and financial reporting as needed
Participate in the monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting process
Assist the accounting team in providing timely information requests to external auditors
Assist the accounting team in the implementation of a new ERP system
Provide adhoc data requests and analysis as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferable)
Intermediate working knowledge of all MS Office programs, advanced Excel skills preferred
Attention to detail and ability to apply logic to various instances
Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, and be able to handle routine and repetitive tasks
Willingness to learn new skills, ability to work well under pressure, adhere to strict deadlines, handle multiple interruptions, and ability to adjust priorities throughout the day
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written skills, ability to develop and maintain strong communication with team members and external partners
Commitment to team-oriented outcomes
This job is not physically strenuous. You must be able to sit at a desk and be able to utilize computers and calculators
This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and oral operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies, and memos, and to communicate clearly with your co-workers and supervisors
