They are seeking a Board-Certified Physiatrist to conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and perform interventional pain procedures in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

100% Outpatient PM&R - No Call

Conduct New/Established patient evaluations

Refer for diagnostic X-rays and/or MRI's

Develop treatment plans as indicated such as Physical therapy Prescriptions

Joint/Soft-tissue injections with/without ultrasound

Medication Prescriptions

Surgical/Specialist Referrals

Electrodiagnostic testing

Perform or Refer for Interventional Pain/Spine Procedures

Document with Electronic Health Records

M.D./D.O

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible with American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR)

Basic EMG skills or enthusiasm to hone skills with on-the-job mentorship

Wonderful bedside manner

Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients

Effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to understand the urgency of the needs of your patients

Organized, personable, compassionate

Bilingual or Willing to Work with Interpreter for non-English speaking patients

Preferred

MSK Ultrasound and/or Interventional skills a plus but not required
