Relationship Manager, Consumer and Retail - Institutional Client Group

Responsibilities
Handle and grow a complex portfolio of loans
Prospect for and close new business relationships
Retain and expand relationships with existing customers
Sell appropriate bank products and services to prospects and clients
Identify and successfully capitalize on One U.S. Bank and make appropriate referrals
Expand and service a variety of large and highly complex customer relationships
Take a leadership role in all aspects of client relationship management, including dedication to customers, quality, accountability, loan and deposit growth, and fee income growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
Typically 10 or more years of banking experience
Preferred
Subject matter expertise and experience working with clients in the consumer and retail sector
Excellent sales management and business development skills with demonstrated results in supporting business development initiatives and driving new client acquisitions
Considerable knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large portfolio of mid and large corporate clients
Demonstrated experience in building relationships and credibility with internal stakeholders (portfolio management/credit risk management/product partners)
Strong knowledge of bank loan market (i.e., terms, pricing) and comfort with credit underwriting
Experience with traditional bank operating products (treasury management, corporate card/payables, capital markets, trust and custody)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
