They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage payment collections, account reconciliation, and support freight operations within a high-volume ocean transportation environment.
Responsibilities
Collections Management: Conduct payment follow-ups via calls and emails
Account Reconciliation: Investigate discrepancies, maintain accurate billing records, and provide account statements
Freight Coordination: Ensure timely import cargo freight release
Payment Processing: Assign and reconcile payments in the in-house system and Freight Payment Reports
Invoice Management: Create, update, and manage invoices
Check Handling: Utilize JP Morgan scanner for check processing
Customer Service: Resolve inquiries, disputes, and refund requests
Reporting & Accuracy: Reconcile system, payment reports, and scanner logs regularly
Team Support: Collaborate with internal teams for compliance and satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years in accounts receivable, accounting, or finance
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Preferred
Experience in ocean transportation, logistics, or freight operations
Familiarity with ERP/IRIS system
JP Morgan scanner
